Capt. John,
Just a short note to put in writing how much I appreciated your
efforts last week. The five tarpon morning will be a fishing memory
that I will never forget. Snook on the dock lights- What a blast!
Sunny days & Flat water!

Capt. John,
Grant and I had a great time.
I must admit I
have fished with a lot of guides you are definitely one of the top
5. Thanks so much for putting us onto some awesome fish. The
magnitude of getting the 28” Snook finally hit Grant when he got
to see the fish photo’s. They were all quality fish. Grant only
now realizes how nice the fish he caught were. The “Jack” was so
fun, to hear him tell his version of fighting that Jack is very
funny.
Thanks again so
much and we will see you next year.

Dear John,
Notwithstanding the busted rod, I had a great time and hope that
we can hook-up again soon to fish for jacks or tarpon. I would
appreciate your keeping me in mind and letting me know when the
fishing for these species is hot. It is unlikely that I will be
able to get down to Florida again this spring, but I would be
interested in a summer tarpon trip. I would also definitely like
to do the jacks again next year.
Thanks again for a great trip.
Sincerely,
John Cambria |

I need take a minute to let you know that you are running
a top notch guide service. Thanks for the tutorial on D.O.A
lures. The combination of your teaching skills, local
knowledge and lure choices made our trip a real success.
I have to say, we had a fishing experience, not just a day on
the water. I look forward to our future trips. Thanks again
Frank Coyle.

July 13, 2004 John,
Just writing to say thanks again for the great morning last
Tuesday. I've attached a few pictures from our day out. I'm sure
we'll all remember our first of hopefully many tarpon! Everyone
had a great time and we are already making plans to do it again
next year, with hopefully a few more days out on the water to get
the big tarpon on the beach! Thanks again for an awesome trip!

Great trip, great time with you guys. Glad to know my photography
wasn’t as bad as it first appeared. Here are a couple of
shots from my camera I thought you would like and could use.
Take care, we’ll see you again!

As a guy who has spent hundreds
of nights on the West Coast flyfishing at night for snook I want to tell you
that your trip and tactics are first rate. I can't wait to do it again.

John,
Now that my vacation is
over and I’m back at work, it seems like a long time ago that we caught
and released 30 snook in four hours of fishing. You did a great job of
putting me on the fish and coaching me into the right casts to get the
most out of those snook under the lights. Our trip far exceeded my most
optimistic expectations. You are a highly professional guide and I enjoyed
fishing with you. I very much look forward to scheduling future trips.
Tarpon, big jacks and more snook are calling me back to Stuart. The drive
up from Miami was definitely worth it.
Best Regards,

WOW, great photos. Bryan will be thrilled. Thank you so much for
such a great adventure! Given all the less than ideal conditions,
you still exceeded my expectations. Bryan had such a wonderful
time and really enjoyed your guidance and company. You have a
wonderful way with fish and people! I know the people part is the
most difficult! I hope we can visit Stuart again. I loved the
town, once I got out to do some touring while you fished your
second day. And we also enjoyed the Dolphin Grill. Thanks for the
recommendation.
Hope this New Year brings you and your family happiness and a
nice addition on your home. I was struck by the on-going repairs
and reconstruction. Unbelievable as I drove along 707. It looked
like a tornado had hit. Hopefully, next season will be a gentler
and kinder one.
I do look forward to bringing Bryan back to fish your waters
again and will be in touch! Again, thank you very much for giving
Bryan a memorable Christmas present. Happy New Year Captain John!
Best regards, Kathy |

My son and I went fishing with Capt. John and we had a great experience!
It was my son’s first fly fishing trip and he caught his
1st snook ever. Capt. John not only put us on fish he made us
better fly fishermen. He was patient with two rookie fly rodders
and gave us one of our best fishing experiences ever. Thanks.

John,
After meeting you this weekend, I now consider you a friend, and
I hope you will add this as a testimonial.
It is now Tuesday, June 26th, and I am reflecting on my trip
this past weekend to the Maverick
Boat Company Dealer Meeting in Hutchinson Island (Stuart), FL.
I got back to the office today and showed the guys the fish we
caught this past weekend. The two days that Tyler and I got to
spend with you fishing the beach and backwater of Stuart were by
far the highlight of the trip. Words cannot explain the fun and
enjoyment that we had together fishing out of your boat. You
were the complete professional, yet I felt that we were on the
boat with an old friend. Your personality kept us excited and
entertained, and your knowledge of the local area kept us on the
fish. I can't imagine anything better than catching a tarpon on
my birthday, especially in front of a cheering crowd on Jensen
Public Beach. The many pictures my wife has already emailed to
family and friends is testament to your uncanny ability to find
the fish, no matter the weather conditions or the amount of
boats running along the beach or through the inlet. After
having fished with you, I consider you one of the best guides I
have had the privilege to come into contact with, and would not
hesitate to recommend you to any customer that expresses the
interest to fish, either fly or live bait, on the East Coast. I
wish you continued success in your guiding, and hope that many
other people get the chance to experience the fun and excitement
that you can give them on the water. I wish you the best of
luck, and I hope that if you find yourself wandering over to
Southwest Florida for a fishing trip, you'll look me up and we
can cast some lines together.
Thanks again,
Jason Travis
